The rules of the road for using Hidden Temple.
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Hidden Temple website at hiddentemplecollectibles.com and its pages and tools (collectively, the “Site”). The Site is operated by Christopher Kestner under the name HiddenTempleTCG (“Hidden Temple,” “we,” or “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Hidden Temple is an independent collector archive and set-list reference for vintage and modern Pokémon cards, stickers, menko, sealed products, toys, and related collectibles. The Site provides catalog, identification, search, collection, contribution, printing, and community tools. Pokémon collectibles are not currently offered for direct purchase on the Site, and the Site does not currently provide a checkout, process payments, hold funds, or ship those goods.
The Market section links to off-site marketplaces and sellers. Some linked accounts, including Hidden Temple-branded eBay or Whatnot accounts, may be operated by the Site operator, while other links lead to independent third parties. Any purchase takes place entirely on the outside platform and is governed by that platform’s and seller’s terms. When the Site operator is the outside seller, the operator may receive the sale proceeds. Supply, marketplace, or seller links may also be affiliate or sponsored links; if you buy through an identified affiliate link, Hidden Temple may receive compensation at no extra cost to you.
If Hidden Temple later offers its own storage binders or other non-Pokémon products for direct sale on the Site, separate sales, payment, shipping, return, and warranty terms will be presented before those sales begin. This Site does not claim that any such product is an official Pokémon product or is sponsored, licensed, or approved by a Pokémon rights holder.
You may browse the public reference pages without an account. Account, upload, marketplace, messaging, and collector-tool features are limited to adults age 18 and older. The Site is not directed to children, and anyone under 18 may not create an account, submit photos, send messages, or provide personal information through those features. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and contact us through the contact page.

Hidden Temple-authored catalog text and original commentary that we have the authority to license are available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license. That license does not cover contributor photographs, Pokémon artwork, third-party trademarks, manufacturer materials, externally sourced information, software, or any other material that Hidden Temple does not own or have authority to license. Those materials remain subject to their respective owners’ rights and any separate terms identified on the Site.
If you upload a photo, image, scan, or other media to the Site — including through the “Contribute?” button on a tile or any other upload flow — that submission is governed by our Contributor License Agreement (the “CLA”). In summary: you keep the copyright in your photo, but you grant Hidden Temple a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to display and reuse it on the Site and in related marketing, and you confirm that you took the photo and have the rights to share it. The license does not end if you close your account. Read the full CLA before you upload.
The Lens and other automated tools may crop, isolate, resize, enhance, classify, or suggest tags for a submitted image. You must review the preview before submitting it. Automated results can be incomplete or incorrect, and Hidden Temple may reject, correct, or replace a crop or tag during moderation. These tools are provided for convenience and do not guarantee identification, authenticity, condition, value, or preservation of every part of an item.
Pokémon, the Pokémon character names, the Pokémon TCG, and the visual artwork on Pokémon cards and stickers are trademarks and copyrighted works of Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures Inc., Game Freak Inc., TPCi, and their affiliates. Manufacturer marks such as Amada, Ensky, Bandai, Top-Seika, Meiji, TOMY, Wizards of the Coast, Burger King, Topps, Artbox, Action Flipz, and others belong to their respective rights holders. Hidden Temple is an independent collector reference and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of those entities. Brand names, set names, product names, and trademarks are used to identify and describe the relevant collectibles; no sponsorship, ownership, or endorsement is implied.
Catalog pages may display limited-size reference images or thumbnails of cards, stickers, packaging, characters, and other collectibles to identify, compare, document, and comment on the items. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Hidden Temple does not claim ownership of the underlying artwork, those images are not included in the Site’s Creative Commons license, and no license to download or reuse them is granted. Source and rights-holder information is provided where reasonably available. A rights holder who believes a specific use is unauthorized may contact us or use the procedure in our DMCA Policy.
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” Hidden Temple makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the catalog, the contributed content, or the editorial content. Card grades, population estimates, prices, release dates, and authentication notes are presented as collector reference and not as professional appraisal, grading, legal, tax, or investment advice.
External marketplace, supply, seller, and affiliate links are provided for convenience. Hidden Temple does not control an outside platform’s availability, payment processing, policies, or privacy practices. Except when the Site operator is expressly identified as the seller on the outside platform, Hidden Temple also does not control the seller, price, inventory, shipping, or condition or authenticity of an item. Review the listing, seller identity, and platform terms before buying.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hidden Temple, its operators, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
If you believe content on Hidden Temple infringes your copyright, please follow the procedure in our DMCA Policy. We process valid takedown notices in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512.
Use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what we collect, how we store it, and the rights you have under applicable privacy laws.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, our other policies, or applicable law. You may stop using the Site at any time and may request account closure through the contact page. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, licenses, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute-related provisions, will survive.
We may update these Terms as the Site changes. We will post the revised version and effective date here. When a change materially affects account holders or contribution rights, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where applicable law requires it. Changes apply prospectively from their effective date.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.
