Hidden Temple uses account and contribution data to operate the collector archive. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
This Privacy Policy explains how Christopher Kestner, operating under the name HiddenTempleTCG (“Hidden Temple,” “we,” or “us”), handles information when you browse hiddentemplecollectibles.com, create an account, use collector tools, submit a photo, or communicate through the Site.
We use information to authenticate accounts; operate profiles, collections, search, uploads, moderation, attribution, achievements, messaging, and printing tools; display approved contributions on the correct catalog item; prevent abuse; diagnose failures; maintain security; respond to requests; and comply with legal obligations.
Approved contributed photos, display names or handles, contribution counts, profile information you make public, collection achievements, and public listings may be visible to other visitors. Email addresses, authentication credentials, private moderation records, and private account settings are not intended for public display. Review your profile sharing settings before adding information you do not want shown publicly.
The current Lens crop and outline process runs in your browser before submission. You see a preview and choose whether to submit it. The submitted processed image, its catalog destination, and available tag information are then sent to Hidden Temple for moderation and storage. Image files may be resized, converted, stripped of embedded metadata, or given transparent backgrounds for display and performance. Do not rely on Hidden Temple to preserve the original file or its original metadata.
Hidden Temple uses service providers to run the Site. These currently include Supabase for authentication, database features, and some storage; Google when a user chooses Google sign-in; Cloudflare and R2 for hosting, security, delivery, and photo storage; and content-delivery or font providers used to load site software and typography. These providers may process technical and account information as needed to provide their services and under their own privacy terms. When you use the contact form, the name, email address, subject, and message you enter are stored by Hidden Temple (in our Supabase database) so your request is not lost, and are also sent through Web3Forms, an email-delivery provider, for the sole purpose of delivering your message to us by email. Web3Forms may process that information under its own privacy terms. Contact messages are retained as long as needed to handle your request and for our legal recordkeeping, and you may ask us to delete a message you sent through the contact page. If you click an affiliate, sponsored, marketplace, or seller link, the outside site may receive referral, browser, device, and purchase-related information under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the Site or its users, or as part of a reorganization or transfer of the service.
Hidden Temple uses cookies or similar browser storage where needed for sign-in, security, preferences, and tool operation. We do not currently use advertising cookies, sell personal information, or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. External links and embedded resources may be governed by the third party’s own privacy practices.
Analytics notice added September 5, 2026. We use PostHog on public pages to understand which parts of the archive people visit. Events contain public page paths, internal navigation destinations, referring site domains, and basic browser and device information. We do not send form entries, uploaded photos, account identifiers, URL query strings, or recordings of your screen to PostHog. Analytics identifiers are kept only in page memory, not in cookies or persistent browser storage. The service is configured to discard client IP addresses and skip location enrichment. Event data may be retained for up to one year.
You can turn this off below. We also honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Only this preference is saved in your browser; changing it does not affect your account or contributions. See PostHog’s privacy policy.

We keep account and collector records while an account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the Site, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Approved contributions and the records connecting them to their catalog location may be retained under the Contributor License Agreement. Temporary files, diagnostic records, and rejected submissions may be deleted or anonymized when they are no longer reasonably needed. Backup and security copies may remain for a limited period after deletion.
You may update available profile and sharing settings through your account. The current in-account closure control de-identifies the public profile and signs the current browser out; it does not by itself delete or disable the underlying authentication record. To request deletion or disabling of that record, or to ask to access, correct, delete, export, or close your account, use the contact page and choose “Privacy Request.” Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, including rights to know what categories of information are collected, correct inaccurate information, delete certain information, obtain a copy of certain information, limit certain uses, opt out of certain sharing, or appeal a decision. Because Hidden Temple does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no sale or targeted-ad sharing to opt out of at this time. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity. Some contribution records or content may be retained where the Contributor Agreement, a legal obligation, security need, or another lawful reason permits it.
The Site is not directed to children. Account, contribution, and messaging features are limited to adults age 18 and older; no one under 18 may create an account, submit photos, send messages, or provide personal information through those features. If we learn that we collected personal information from anyone under 18 through those features, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information should contact us through the contact page with “Parent / Guardian Request” or “Privacy Request” selected.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Hidden Temple is operated from the United States, and information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. By using the Site from another country, you understand that privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
We may update this Policy as the Site changes. The revised date will appear below, and we will provide additional notice when required. Questions or privacy requests can be sent through the contact page.
