150 of 150, and where the total comes from
Every number from 001 to 150 was read off a photograph of a card printing both its number and its name, and no card of this design carrying a number above 150 has been photographed. That is what the 150 on this page rests on: the cards themselves, plus concordant complete-set listings in both back colours.
No wrapper, box, display or leaflet printing a set total has been found, and five targeted searches for one came back empty. The denominator is established from the cards rather than printed by the product, and this page says which.
One listing offers a No.151 Mewtwo in this design. Its own photograph shows a card printing 150. The Mew at 151 in the Topsun family lives on the card gum battle cards, a different product.
Blue back and green back are one set, two inks
The same number in blue and in green carries an identical front: same artwork, same stat table, same dex paragraph, same copyright line. Four matched same-number pairs were photographed by the same sellers under the same light to test it, and all four agree. So this is a back-ink variant of one 150-card set, never two sets and never two rows for one number.
Which ink came first is not established. Sellers describe the blue as the early printing; nothing on the card, on the back, or in any photograph read for this page supports a sequence, so this archive prints none.
How far the readings go
146 of 150 rows carry the printed classification, both types, the height and the weight, and all 146 passed the archive’s printed-stat cross-check with zero failures. The remaining 4 rows had one stat cell cropped or hidden on the only photograph of that number, and each of those rows says so on its own line.
The card prints its own year. The foot of every front reads a 1995 Nintendo, Creatures and GAME FREAK credit, read at full legibility, which is why this page is dated from the object rather than from a seller.
The background split is design, not a variant
Most cards print the art field as a green half and a red half divided by a jagged seam patterned with repeating silhouettes. A minority print one colour: 001, 002 and 003 are all green and 056 is all red. The split position and the pattern differ card to card. It looks like a variant axis in thumbnails and it is not one.
One colour-shift printing error is documented, on 060, where the background halves print teal and magenta. It is a single photographed example and this page says so rather than calling it a variant.
What the rows rest on
Three seller runs that list individual cards front and back at roughly 900 by 1200 pixels each gave 106 numbers directly. Twenty-six graded slab labels independently print the year, the number, the species and the back colour. Two complete-set album lots photograph the whole run in order, one blue and one green. The negative control is recorded too: no wrapper was found.
Card shape sorts this product from its sibling before anything else. This card is portrait with a cream border and a three-digit number with no prefix; the card gum battle cards are landscape with a metallic No.NNN band.

A printing run left the number cell off the banner entirely
The no-number cards are an error run, not a failed reading
On these cards the pink name banner runs the full width with no white number plate at its left. Everything else prints normally and correctly. They are a real and broad printing-run error, recognised as a variety by graders, and they are listed by species below because they have no number to list them under.
About twenty further species are named in seller titles as no-number cards and are not recorded here as existing. One listing advertises 46 error cards alongside a complete set, which would put the run near a third of the set; that is a seller’s count and this archive does not adopt it.
