Pokémon Karuta Best Wishes

Showa Note released separate Best Wishes boxes in 2010, 2011 and 2012, and the same kana can show different characters. The 2010 and October 2011 boxes are separate products, not merged into the 2012 rows.

The dated 2012 orange floral box is the active checklist below, with 45 identified and 0 open. The box photograph, 45 picture cards and 45 reading cards are all recorded, and every kana pair is read from a photograph of this printing.

All 45 names come from readable 2012 cards, not box art, character popularity or other printings. Three earlier identifications were corrected from those photographs, with the corrections kept on record.

PhotoTCG’s approved Dragonite や stays in the community catalog as a card from another, still undated printing, because the 2012 や card is Durant. Clear card photos fill open wells and earn profile credit after review.
