Pokémon Karuta 2025

Showa Note’s Karuta 2025 box came out November 7, 2024, with 45 picture cards, 45 reading cards, a hiragana chart, number cards and ABC cards. Fuecoco is the あ card, read from the maker’s contents photograph.

The double-sided deck supports Japanese karuta, alphabet play and counting play. A picture card and reading card are tracked together as one kana pair.

Each kana identity comes from a card photograph of this annual printing, not another box. Entries follow gojūon kana order because the cards have no printed set numbers.

A clear picture-card or reading-card photo fills an open well and keeps your contributor credit. Corrections backed by a readable card are welcome.
