GBA DP Collection 2 - Diamond and Pearl

2006 / Game Boy Advance
Set Notes

The Part 2 sibling of the Sinnoh-era Diamond and Pearl card collection, in the same square card family and from the same maker. It was opened as its own page on 2026-09-12 for the reason the three GBA Ruby and Sapphire parts already have their own pages, which is that the parts of one line are separate printings, each with its own card holders and its own printed figures, and a row read from one part is never counted against another part's total. Ten rows are published here. Six of them are rows this archive first published on the Part 1 page and they move here unchanged, because the lot they were read in photographs both of its card holders square on and both print DIAMOND & PEARL CARD COLLECTION PART-2, in English and in katakana. Four more were added on the same day from a second lot, where five card backs lie flat beside an orange card holder whose face prints the same PART-2 line, so holder and cards sit in one frame. Every one of the ten is read off what the card itself prints, and every identity was cross checked against the printed classification, the height and the weight the back carries, with no mismatch anywhere. A fifth card in that frame, a Floatzel by artwork, sits outside the focal plane and its printed number does not resolve, so it is named here and not published. This page states no printed total. The Part 1 daishi prints 56 card types, a prism parallel over those same 56 subjects and 3 card holder types, but that is Part 1's paper and Part 1's figure. The Part 2 daishi has never been photographed in any lot any lane has walked, so Part 2's own figures are unknown and this page writes no denominator rather than borrowing one. The year shown here is carried from the Part 1 key and is not read off any Part 2 artefact, because none has been photographed. The Part 1 daishi's own toy safety mark reads ST 07 beside a lot code 0702, which points at early 2007 rather than 2006, and that open question stands over both parts. Neither set is renamed on a date read alone. The card holder is the part test for this family. Both parts print the Sinnoh dex number on the back, so a Sinnoh dex band never separates them, and only a Part badged holder or daishi in the same frame does. Three Part 2 holder artworks are photographed, an Infernape holder, an Empoleon holder and a Torterra holder, against the three holder types the family's daishi promises for each part. The holder artwork is not a card, and the difference matters on this page in particular, because the Empoleon row here is a card and was proven to be one by a frame that shows its watermark on a square card in a sleeve with a Torterra holder separately in view. A row is never derived from a holder.

Only source-verified entries are named. Additional designs can be submitted using Add Extra Card; each keeps its own front and back photo keys.
