Set Notes
All 56 printed numbers, PMABSC-001 through PMABSC-056, are read and the run is closed, from the original leaflet and a complete physical spread. What those numbers are attached to is the other half of the story. The card prints no name of any kind, so the scene wording beside each number is this archive own description of a photographed card rather than a printed title, and sixteen of those wordings have been corrected or narrowed against a full set photographed in one frame. That 56 is now read on the retail display band Kyodo printed for this product as well, which prints it twice, once in the title block as the largest type on the band and once in the bullet list beside its box and body colour bullets, on five physical bands across four lots. The same band prints the maker name and address and the item number 4947122970223, which passes its own printed check digit, so the figure this page states is the count the product itself prints and the scenes read off the cards agree with it. The box for this product prints a prism card line on its own face, so a random prism insert shipped with it, and prism finishes share scene numbers rather than adding types. Front and back contributions remain open for every scene.
The numbered scene run is complete and closed at 56. The card prints exactly two things on its face, the number in a filmstrip header band and the rights line in a filmstrip footer band, and it prints no species name, no episode caption and no scene title, so every wording on this checklist is a Hidden Temple description of a photographed card and never a printed one. A full set photographed in a single frame has now been read scene by scene against the wordings this page carried. Forty agreed. Nine were wrong about what the card shows and are corrected here. Number 21 is Caterpie and not Metapod, number 5 shows Mankey and not a Pidgey, numbers 10 and 11 were the wrong way round, number 41 shows the bird on the ground rather than in flight, number 43 is an effect frame with no species legible in it, and number 46 shows a barrel rather than a second Pokemon. Numbers 49 and 56 no longer name a character at all, because the hair colour in each frame is not the one the earlier wording claimed and a closer photograph is wanted before either is named again. Seven further rows are narrowed to the limit of what their frame supports rather than to the species or the object an earlier pass named. Three of the 56, numbers 16, 24 and 37, rest on a close up of that single card as well as on the full set frame. Normal and prism finishes share scene numbers rather than adding types, and the full prism list remains under research. Two rows here state a finish and 54 do not, which is what the evidence looks like rather than an inconsistency. A finish is recorded on this checklist only where one has been observed on a photographed card, and so far that is number 34 as a prism and number 52 as a regular and no other scene. Both of those rows are also the two whose photo keys this archive has carried longest, so neither is rewritten on anything but a read of its own. Existing photo keys are unchanged, and every row id is the one this page has always carried.
