HSC3 was Amada's first major run to fold in the Johto Pokemon alongside refreshes of the Kanto lineup. The set sits at 222 entries, the largest single Hyper run.
By 2000 Amada had tightened its color separation process, the holos in HSC3 show crisper prismatic transitions than the 1996 to 1997 series. Side-by-side comparison with HSC1 is often used as an authentication reference.
Released into a market that had already established Pokemon sticker collecting as a habit, HSC3 enjoyed careful storage from day one. Mint examples surface more often than from the earlier sets, but condition variance remains wide.
Note, 27 September 2026: The sealed Perfect Album 4 band prints 最強シール烈伝 弐千, 全220種類 and No.638 スペシャルレーザーシール付き, and the album carries 638 ホウオウ Level.92. That 220 is the album line's own printed total, not the 222 rows this page lists, and every row this page has always listed stays exactly where it is.
Note, 27 September 2026: The 418 to 639 run here is reconstructed from the 2000 Amada 最強シール烈伝 弐千 line and from the three checked tail numbers 622, 638 and 639. No sticker printing 418, 419 or 420 with a 2000 imprint has been photographed, so the Bulbasaur, Ivysaur and Venusaur rows sit at those numbers on the run's continuity alone and will move if a printed 弐千 418, 419 or 420 is ever read. Those three numbers are also printed by three 1998 Pocket Album bonus stickers (Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon), listed on the Amada accessories page.
