7-Eleven Promo · Pokémon Fair 2005

A two-week 7-Eleven Japan tie-in promotion that kicked off on June 29, 2005. The chain ran a "Pokémon Fair" using snack stock-keeping units to push stickers: instant cup noodles and ice bars each bundled a free promo sticker keyed to the AG-era roster and the upcoming Pokémon movie. Square format, same dimensions as the regular Retsuden run, just slipped into different packaging.

The clever part: the 15 noodle stickers and the 15 ice-bar stickers share artwork one-for-one, but the finishes differ. Noodles got a metallic foil treatment; ice bars got a laser-etched look. So a completionist chase isn't 15 stickers but 30 — two distinct production passes of the same lineup. The same hierarchy Ensky would later expand into Mirror Holo / Sparkle Holo tiers for the DP run.

The 7-Eleven Fair also stocked Pokémon-branded onigiri (rice balls), and those carried their own 48-design sticker insert. Those are NOT part of the Retsuden / Fair 2005 line — different size, different distribution, different lineup. If you see "Pokémon Fair 2005" stickers listed in a 48-count, those are the onigiri set and belong in their own bucket.
